Artist's Comments
I was/am in a realtionship, one I thought was exclusive and monogamous, but aparently my partner decided to see otherwise and deemed it an "open" relationship. We're not on talking terms right now, mainly because his family discovered the interracial factor and aren't too happy about it. I've tried everything within my power and will to speak with him, to try to work something out, to find where our relationship stands, but I've gotten no response from him. His shirt is in my lap, this was a photo shoot that happened spontaneously, so nothing fancy.
